MEET THE ANCESTORS !!!- Half day workshop - suitable for Upper KS1/ KS2

Step back in time and discover how the earliest humans lived from over 800,000 years ago to the present. Learn about climate change and how it affected the people who lived here. Come face to face with some of the animals that roamed the area, including Mammoths, Hyenas and Cave bears.

Discover the lives of the earliest humans, handle Cro- magnum skulls, create your own Stone- age clay pots and try your hand at cave- painting using natural pigments !!

Cost : Half day morning or afternoon session £5.50 pp.

 Half day session with lunch space and time to explore on a self led basis £6 pp.

ROCKS AND FOSSILS DISCOVERY WORKSHOP- Half day workshop- suitable for Upper KS1/KS2.

Come on a Fossil quest to discover Torbay's amazing landscape and prehistoric creatures.

Discover how fossils are formed and the different rocks which make up the landscape of our Global Geopark right here in Torbay.

Handle real fossils, have a go at excavating fossils and create your own fossils from clay.
