Date: 6 April 2022

Torquay Museum Society Lecture
By Josephine Collingwood
10.45am - 12 Noon

Dartmoor has world-class geology; its tors and minerals are studied far and wide as superb examples. If your curiosity is piqued when looking at the tor formations, old mine workings and odd coloured rocks, then this talk is for you. Josephine Collingwood (author of Dartmoor Tors Compendium and the new DNP Visitor Guide) will present an Introduction to Dartmoor’s Geology, covering Dartmoor’s formation, characteristics and mineral legacy.

Lectures are free of charge to Torquay Museum Society Members. But the general public are also welcome to attend - £5 per ticket, payable on the door.
