Ghosts and the Devon Landscape
Date: 2 February 2022
Torquay Museum Society Lecture
By Keith Wallis
10.45am - 12 Noon
In this talk we’ll be exploring a range of ghost stories from across the county, some of them famous and others more obscure. Delving into their ties with the local landscape and their significance within the community. We’ll be looking at the origins of these stories, how they may have evolved, and asking whether they are still as culturally relevant today.
Lectures are free of charge to Torquay Museum Society Members. But the general public are also welcome to attend - £5 per ticket, payable on the door.
