Torquay Museum Society Lecture
By Phil Badcott
10.45am - 12 Noon
In times past, Dartmoor was considered to be the haunt of the Pixies. Using the stories and poems from the 19th century, the talk explores the ancient beliefs about Pixies, where they lived, their antics and the terror or joy caused to the people of Dartmoor in years gone by.
Lectures are free of charge to Torquay Museum Society Members. But the general public are also welcome to attend - £5 per ticket, payable on the door.
