Animation Workshop at LEGO Models Exhibition Family Fun Day

Family-friendly workshop
10am -12noon 
& 1pm - 2pm
Cost : £6 per child

Come and make a Lego animation film with animator and film-maker Fliss Shillingford using stop motion, inspired by the Museum's collections or our summer blockbuster LEGO Brickbuilt exhibition.

Working in a group you will create a story and background ready for action. Music and sound effects will be added to your movie later, which will then be available to download. Basic Lego blocks will be provided but please bring your own Lego figures and any types of transport.

The LEGO Stop Motion Animation Workshop is suitable for children aged 3 and over - children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Booking for this special event is highly recommended as spaces are limited to15 Children per session.

Visitors to the Museum will also be able to marvel at the stunning LEGO® models in the summer blockbuster Brick Built LEGO® Models exhibition, and then:

* Make their own models, using play Lego, which can be added to a special Lego town.
* Use a Virtual Reality headset to pilot a flying car, or be an astronaut making a spacewalk aboard a space station.
* Build Lego digitally using laptops loaded with special Lego Builder software.

Normal Museum admission prices apply - pay once and get in FREE for a year.
