Sinatra Tribute Evening with Andy Youngs
Date: 18 November 2017
Saturday, 7pm - 9.30pm
Those who love the iconic music of the legendary Frank Sinatra are in for a rare treat as Torbay-based crooner Andy Youngs will play a lively tribute gig at Torquay Museum.
The evening will feature Andy's interpretation of songs by Sinatra, including classics such as The Lady is a Tramp, Come Fly With Me, Moonlight Becomes You, and Fly Me To The Moon, to name but a few.
Andy Youngs started performing in wine bars back in the late 70's and taught himself to play the guitar, taking his act all over the world, singing and playing in bars from Gibraltar to Hawaii. In 2010 he was talent spotted by The 1940s Roadshow and recruited as their crooner. Since then he has performed at nearly all of the Roadshow events, entertaining crowds from Truro to Wolverhampton.
Torquay Museum has a large dancefloor and a licensed café serving beer and wine, so a lively and entertaining evening is guaranteed for lovers of Sinatra. However, spaces are limited so fans are strongly advised to book their tickets in advance by contacting Torquay Museum on 01803 293975. Tickets are £8 each and most of the money raised from this gig will go to Torquay Museum to help conserve and display some of the precious artefacts from its impressive collection of over 350,000 objects.
