Lecture: "THE HARMAN FAMILY'S LUNDY"

Date: 18 October 2017

MUSEUM SOCIETY LECTURE.

LUNDY:THE ENCHANTED ISLAND. 'Sole, Lundy, Fastnet, Irish Sea' - POSTPONED DUE TO ILLNESS

However, we do have a replacement - Andre Coutanche. Recommended by a professor at the Bodleian Library who is Chair of the Lundy Field Society, Andre (also an LFS member) is a seasoned speaker and co-author of the book, 'The Harman Family's Lundy', a fascinating history of the family that owned Lundy from 1925-1969. He is prominent in the very active Malago Valley Conservation Group covering SW Bristol. Andre will be bringing a box of the Harman Family books with him and will be selling and signing copies in the Pengelly Room immediately after the lecture.

The lecture starts at 10:45 h and is free to Torquay Museum Society members, or £5.00 for non-members.
