THE HISTORY AND CULTURE OF APPLE GROWING. Simon Akeroyd, author of fifteen much-praised gardening books, takes us on a fascinating cultural journey from the Garden of Eden to the present day whilst also providing practical tips and hints on apple-growing in small gardens. 

The lecture starts at 10:45 h  and is free to Torquay Museum Society members, or  £5.00 for non-members.
